The RAM Takes Home Hardware at Washington Beer Awards

LAKEWOOD, WA – The RAM competed at the Washington Brewer’s Festival and won three medals at the 4th Annual Washington Beer Awards competition held on June 18th. “There were over 950 beers entered in the competition by 139 Washington breweries. To come out with three medals against such great competition alongside other local brewers and friends is a great honor,” said Director of Brewing Operations, Dave Leonard.

The Tacoma RAM and brewer Blake Miller won a silver medal for the Roggen in the Pro-Am competition. This beer also won bronze medal honors earlier in the month at the 2016 NABA competition. The Northgate Seattle RAM and Greg Maddery won a bronze for the company flagship beer Disorder Porter. The RAM also won a bronze out of the Tacoma Brewery location from brewer Steve Kirven for the Vienna in the European Amber & Dark Lager category.

The Washington Beer Awards are a craft beer competition open strictly for Washington-based beers. Beers submitted must be both brewed and made commercially available in the state of Washington.
