The RAM Restaurant and Brewery Taps IPA for ALS to Benefit a Great Cause

For the second year, The RAM Restaurant and Brewery has joined the annual ‘Ales for ALS’ program, a fundraising and awareness campaign to help find a cure for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). The RAM’s “IPA 4 ALS” small batch seasonal release has been tapped at all RAM locations with $1 from each pint being donated to ALS Therapy Development Institute, the world’s leader in ALS research.

“When asked to participate in the Ales for ALS program again, it was a no brainer,” said Dave Leonard, Director of Brewery Operations. “Last year our IPA sold out in less than two weeks and helped raise several thousand dollars for ALS TDI, we are hoping that our 2016 brew is even more successful!” The “IPA 4 ALS” is a flavorful and aromatic IPA brewed with the exclusive ALS hop blend from Loftus Farms in Yakima, WA.

The ‘Ales for ALS’ program, created by Loftus Ranches and Hopunion, provides a promising experimental one-of-a-kind hop pellet blend, free-of-charge, to participating brewers to create their special ALS brews.
