The RAM Joins the Fight with New Pink Drinks and Fall Appetizers

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and The RAM Restaurant and Brewery is introducing their new Drink Pink selections. One dollar from each Pink Drink purchased will be donated to the American Cancer Society to raise awareness and money to help finish the fight.

The Drink Pink features include the popular Soco Sangria with Southern Comfort, merlot, sweet and sour and pineapple juice. The Pink Shandy with Absolute Citron, muddled lemons, simple syrup, Pom Pomegranate juice and topped with RAM Hefeweizen Beer. Guests will also enjoy the Black Opal Marg with el Jimador Blanco Tequila, Chambord Raspberry Liqueur, muddle limes and sweet and sour. The featured wine is Ménage à Trois Rosé, enjoy it by the glass or bottle.

The RAM’s new featured appetizers are the perfect complement to any of their Pink Drinks or frosty RAM hand-crafted beers. The Buffalo Chicken Flatbread is heating up the fall with buffalo sauce, diced buffalo chicken, Wisconsin Mozzarella and Crumbled Blue Cheese, finished with sliced green onion and drizzled ranch dressing. No one can resist the Loaded Stuffed Tater Tots stuffed with cheddar jack cheese, hickory smoked bacon and green onion, served with roasted tomato chili aioli. And the Buffalo Chicken Nachos with cheddar jack cheese, grilled chopped onions, diced celery, buffalo chicken, Wisconsin Blue Cheese crumbled and finished with green onions and ranch dressing round out the menu with a little southwestern flair.


Taste of Fall is on Now at The RAM

LAKEWOOD, WA – The RAM and C.B. & Potts Restaurants and Breweries welcome the change of the seasons with the debut of their,” Taste of Fall” special menu. Perfect to accompany cooler temperatures and fall colors, this limited time menu features past favorites in addition to some new and sensational creations. “We have some great items on our fall menu for guests to indulge in and enjoy! Our menu has something that will fit everyone’s taste buds, especially those foodie guests who like to pair our menu with any of our frosty hand-crafted beers,” said James Cassidy, Culinary and Purchasing Director.

“Our Blackened Chicken Mac and Cheese is the comfort food item of the fall!” declares Chef Cassidy. Featuring Cavatappi Pasta in shredded smoked Gouda cheese sauce with garlic roasted shiitake, button and crimini mushrooms and topped with skillet seared and julienned blackened chicken, Wisconsin Mozzarella Cheese, rich marinara and parmesan. “It is the balance of sugar and acid, plus the herbs and spices that are a great complement to the season and our Oktoberfest Bier”, Cassidy added.

For burger lovers, the Rhinelander is the perfect choice! A grilled seasoned beef patty, cooked to your taste and topped with a hearty split bratwurst, stoneground mustard aioli, creamy Wisconsin Havarti Cheese, sautéed onions, red bell pepper and sauerkraut served on a pretzel bun. Of course, The Rhinelander pairs well with any of our fresh and local beers including the Taster Curl. Boasting six beer selections, guests can discover their favorite from the assorted choices always on tap.

In addition to the Blackened Chicken Mac & Cheese and the Rhinelander Burger, a few other fall entrées include a popular Ahi Tuna Melt Sandwich, the Zesty Fire Grilled Steak Salad, and the legendary PBB & JJ Burger featuring a grilled beef patty topped with peanut butter, roasted jalapenos, fresh arugula, house-made roma jam, cheddar cheese and hickory smoked bacon… it is absolutely crazy good!

To start off guest’s experience, The Dublin Quesadilla appetizer is fast becoming a guest favorite! Featuring a flour tortilla, it’s filled with julienned corned beef, Wisconsin Swiss Cheese and sauerkraut served with tasty horseradish cream and Thousand Island dipping sauces.

For dessert, what better way to round out lunch or dinner than with the Granny Smith Apple Fritter? Made with Granny Smith Apples and Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider, it’s slow baked to order and served warm with salted caramel and vanilla ice cream.

Along with The Taste of Fall Menu, We are also introducing new drinks including the Mint Tea Mojito, Fireball Strawberry Peach Tea and Deep Eddy Lemon Mint Tea. Beer Cocktails featuring our hand-crafted beers include the “Coconut Blonde, “ with 1800 Coconut Tequila and Blonde Ale, “Jimmy B’s Lemon Hefe,” with Jim Beam and Hefeweizen and the “Angry Blonde,” featuring Angry Orchard Crisp Apple and Blonde Ale.

The RAM Restaurant and Brewery Helps Raise Over $3,000 for ALS Research

LAKEWOOD, WA – The RAM Restaurant and Brewery recently participated in the 3rd annual ‘Ales for ALS,’ a fundraising and awareness campaign to help find a cure for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). The RAM’s “A Cure for What ALS You” small batch seasonal IPA was tapped at all Washington RAM locations for a less than two weeks before selling out with $1 from each pint being donated to ALS TDI, the world’s leader in ALS research.

“The Ales for ALS at The RAM was a huge success, raising $3,071 for the ALS foundation. Our IPA was immensely popular with RAM guests and sold out in less than 2 weeks. We look forward to continuing to help grow the Ales 4 ALS program in 2016,” said Dave Leonard, Directory of Brewery Operations.

The ‘Ales for ALS’ program, created by Loftus Ranches and Hopunion, provides a promising experimental one-of-a-kind hop pellet blend, free-of-charge, to participating brewers to create their special brews. The hop varieties utilized in this year’s blend were selected by Ken and Brian Grossman (Sierra Nevada), John Mallet (Bell’s), Rob Kent (Bear Republic) and Julian Schrago (Beachwood).

“We are excited to partner with over 80 breweries across the US for Ales for ALS – last year ‘Ales for ALS’ raised over $300,000 for ALS research. “A cure for what ALS you” is an assertively hoppy Northwest style IPA brewed with an exclusive hop blend from Loftus Hop farms in Yakima, WA. This unique hop blend combines Mosaic, Equinox and five experimental varities and imparts a resinous, yet tropical hop character,” said Dave Leonard, Director of Brewery Operations.
