RAM Restaurant and Brewery Taps Popular Seasonal Beer
Spring has sprung at the RAM Restaurant and Brewery! Along with warmer temperatures and longer days, the arrival of spring is heralded by the return of the Goat-MAIBOCK. Debate continues as to the origins of the name "Bock" ... Was it after the town of Einbeck in Germany or a variation on the German word (and recognized symbol of the style) the Goat?
Regardless of the origin, the name has come to signify one of the RAM’s most popular seasonal selections. This lager is fermented cold and patiently aged (lagered) at near freezing temperatures to achieve a smooth and immensely satisfying profile. Brewed in the esteemed German Helles style, Steve Samuelson, regional brewer for the RAM, describes his version of the brew as being a "full flavored and full bodied brew with a nice smooth malt flavor, golden in color, with a crisp, clean balanced finish."
Toast the arrival of spring with a Maibock small batch specialty brew now available on tap at your local RAM restaurant and Brewery!
