RAM BREWS WIN AWARDS
The Ram Restaurant and Brewery was recently recognized by the North American Brewers Association in Idaho Falls, Idaho for their hand-crafted beers from its Washington, Idaho and Oregon locations.
The North American Brewers Association judged over 1000 beers representing breweries from New York to Alaska, Canada and Mexico in 2007 for their annual Beer Awards. The results were named on June 1, 2007 as beers from across the nation were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in each of the 24 categories.
The Ram Restaurant and Brewery was awarded Gold medals for five of its brews including; the “Big Red IPA” and the “Big Horn Blonde Ale” from Tacoma, Wash., the “Face Down Brown” and the “Belgian White” from Seattle, Wash., and the “Slam Dunkel Bock” from Salem.
Other medals awarded to the Ram include Silver for the “Bannock St. Bock” and Bronze for the “Snake River Thumper Ale” from Boise, Idaho, as well as Silver for the “South Hill Steam” from Puyallup, Wash.
The Ram Restaurant and Brewery brews its’ own ales and lagers on the premises of their locations. Hand-crafted beers such as the “Big Red IPA” and the “Big Horn Blonde Ale” are featured year-round on the Ram menu, while other brews are considered “seasonal” and alternate on the taps throughout the year.
With 26 locations in seven states, the Ram Restaurant and Brewery is a family owned and operated business headquartered in Lakewood, Wash.
